On Thursday 4th August we crossed our outbound track on our way home. It had to happen somewhere so we chose to head into the mountains and go back to Glacier National Park in Montana. When we visited here on our way out Logan Pass was closed because of the snow, we rode into the park at that time but were turned back at the snow line not very far into the pass. So while we planned our route home from LA it was going to be Yellow stone but that seemed a bit far out and we didn't want to rush so this was the next best option.
We stopped at the gate to get a photo and a family in a SUV pulled over to chat when he saw the bike. He has a GS at home in the garage and after taking the pic for us we chatted for at least 45 mins until I was asked to move the bike as someone else wanted a photo and we were parked in front of the sign. One of the things we both enjoy is the lift we see in people when we tell them our story and what we have done. We receive many emails from people we have met and it is great to know we have inspired so many. It is very humbling for us and we feel very fortunate to have been able to have made this trip together.

Seeing views like this still takes our breath away and being in the mountains is a favourite place to be for both of us. I am sure that is why we love living in Canada and after all the 30 countries we have visited we still think Canada is the BEST.
