Boise to Grangeville on the 95

The Capitol Building in Boise Idaho
This little city surprised us, it was so compact and very clean, probably one of the cleanest cities we have ever been in.  This is the capital of Idaho and it has a very impressive Capital building for its size with beautifully groomed gardens.
And yes we were there

A great place to stay while in Boise
We checked out one hotel and it was $189. per night so when I said that was too much he suggested I try the Safari Inn, just across the road and it was $69. per night including a light breakfast and free internet and parking! bonus, it turned out to be perfect and very nicely appointed i might add too.  We found the block with all the restaurants on it, picked the "pub" and sat outside it was a lovely evening, ended up chatting with some locals and telling them all about our trip etc.

It turns out that their daughter was on her way to Victoria for a 2 weeks trip so we were telling them all about Vic and SSI..

Before we left he asked us about our B C Medical system and said is it true what they say that its pretty good, we said that we thought it was fine, so far its worked for us and our families..  He was telling us that he pays between $100-$600 a month for private medical coverage and its just killing them, he also told us that his mother had to be on dialysis and it cost $50,000 a treatment and she needed that each month, 50,000 a treatment come on that is criminal! well it broke the family and she eventually died.

Can you believe how dreadful that must be, i really think the American people have to go all out and protest their medical system, apparently the USA spends the most each year on medical but it provides the least service for its people so wheres all the money going?? the US government should be ashamed of itself.
The road north on the 95 was another great road
How do I manage to pick them??

Rafting on the river, there were loads of rafters out on the river today.

Now thats a truck load of guns
I just dont get this country with its gun laws, we met a motorcyclist with his daughter on the back and he was taking her camping for 4 days, he was packing a very large sidearm in full site, what for i have no idea.

We have travelled thru 30 countries and never once did we feel threatened, we certainly would not want to be packing any guns with us..

Its pretty cool that the gun shop sells beer too.

But at least some people are pushing for peace
