Aya and Arik from Tel Aviv!
The second group of new friends we had met earlier on our trip in France at a laundrymat in Amboise and they said when we got to Israel to give them a call, so we did.
Arik picked us up on his 1963 BMW RW75, a lovely green one that he had brought with him from the states when he returned to Israel a few years ago, they took us out for a lovely brunch in a trendy section of Tel Aviv near the old Railway station, the food was delicious, it was so nice to be back to something so familiar to us, it felt just like home. Then they invited us for a family brunch at their home the next day with their two girls, Aya’s mom and some more of their friends. They have a lovely home they renovated in the Old Port area and it was so nice to be in a home which felt just like ours in Canada, they reminded me of Danni & Dean and Adam and Claudia because they were so comfortable with us.
We are so lucky that everyone speaks English too, this is a great place to chill for a few weeks and to hang out while we await our visas to India.

We applied for our Indian Visas with our Canadian Passports as our EU Passports now have the Israeli stamp in them so we decided to switch, we filled out all the paperwork and paid our $270sheckels each and left them there to await the approval. They said the visas would take 2 weeks so we decided to head north to meet more new friends who Trevor had made contact with on the Internet also, another biker with a GS1200.
