The end to a perfect three days in Santorini

We got off the ferry and rode into the main town and asked if anyone knew where the place was we had booked into and although they were all really helpful nobody had heard of it, yikes this could be fun.. Then looking a bit lost, im sure, a couple spoke to us in English and asked if we needed any help, they of course knew where the place was as it was across the alley from their own house, bonus, they even walked me there and told Trev to follow on the bike. It was past a church, down a crazy little cobblestone alley way where cats and dogs just hang out in hope of getting fed by the tourists! we got to park right outside the place so the bike was safe, the funny part was that we bumped into the Ausi couple we had made the Italy to Greece trip with a few days back - they were staying in the same place, we hadnt seen them for a few days as we went one way in Greece and they went another so this was pretty funny, it turns out that they are headed to Turkey Istanbul also so its likely we will see them again there too! We ended up hanging out together for the trip to the Volcano, drinks on their balcony it was great fun. Then as we were both leaving on the midnight ferry together we decided to waste the time away by all going to see Harry Potter, they are big fans, it was in English with Greek subtitles too funny, pretty scary movie though and a bit dark! Hope to see you in Istanbul guys!
We really loved the Island of Santorini it is in many ways similar to our own Saltspring Island. There are about 12000 full time residents and in the summer it is nuts with tourists. It was nice for us both to relax for a while as the only thing do to was take in the view and wonder around the town, the place we stayed called Non'i Apartments was very well managed by a lovely girl called Jessica and believe it or not she was from Kelowna so it was great to speak English again and she also gave us some fantastic tips on places to see and go to eat. And also a lovely bottle of wine.
Thanks for that. We really enjoyed our stay.
