Out and About in Perth

The First Bar we find and Ronnie's not with us!

And then this Wow so much selection
Ronnie you will love it here, large packages of chocolate!!

Very nice to see they have kept some of the
old look around town, lots of quaint buildings around Perth.

We take the opportunity to go see the
New Pirates of the Caribbean in 3D, expensive $50 for two of us.

After all this time since India Chenty is still
having a problem with her shoulder and if the guy rides a  GS
he must know what he is doing!
This was pretty funny, we were scooting around Perth looking for the licensing place to get insurance for the bike and as we turned down this road there was a GS1200 the same as Trevs bike and standing beside it was a guy, he happened to be standing in front of a physiotherapists office too which was doubly weird cause I had said to Trev that day that I was going to go looking for one to have my shoulder looked at.  Well anyway it was all too much of a coincidence so we pulled in and got chatting, he was the owner of the bike and had been all around Europe on it, he had brought the bike in from England, plus he was a physio and this was his office, so I asked him if he could fit me in and he said, "go do the bike stuff and then come back and I will fit you in," brilliant! us Bikers stick together...

My shoulder had still been bothering me from my fall down the stairs when i was in Varanassi in india months back, it turns out that I have a "Frozen Shoulder" from the fall and all I can do now is get it working, he said it might take up to a year to get it fully functional again, oh well at least I now know what was wrong with it and can get started on getting the range of motion back.
This was his office, a very fun trendy decor inside complete with Cappuccino maker! how nice.

The Cool clean clear air of Perth, this city isnt very big which is what
makes it really pleasant to get around in.

Xander and Tam, with me of course and Elvis!

I met Xander while Trev was in getting his insurance done on the bike, it turns out that the two of them had also gone around the world on an Africa Twin and had arrived back a couple of months ago and were now trying to settle back into the "real" world.   Xander admitted that he was having a tougher time than Tam was, he was excited to here about our adventures as were we his so we hooked up for dinner with them later that night.

It was getting late after dinner and we still hadnt chatted enough so they invited us around to their place for a BBQ and some "Roo" the next night, it was a lot of fun, we could tell Xander is planning his next trip already..ha ha just not ready to settle..thanks again guys for a great night and dont forget to come visit us in Canada!
