The Island of Penang Georgetown

After the border we are back at it heading to Georgetown
One thing I mast say is the roads in
Thailand and Malaysia are well kept

The Penang bridge is 13.5 km (8.4 miles),
making it the longest bridge in Malaysia as and the
fourth-longest in Southeast Asia.

We find things in Georgetown a little pricer than Thailand
and consider going for a job

A lot of the city is built on reclaimed land so the
 beaches are not great

Another food market but they are by far the
cheapest place to eat

Noodle soup and Beer

But most of it we wouldn't want to EAT

Now these things would make most men envious
Yes they are Gooey ducks from BC

We go for a ride around the Island

Eating again

Back on the road the next day and Phil back on the bus once again to find a more fun location.  Now onto Cameron Highlands, home of the tea plantations, Phil undecided that its really his scene, tea,  but after much discussion he decides to join us anyway, so once again back on the bus.  Fortunately these buses are mostly mini vans, air conditioned and make several potty and food stops so not like the crappy cheap buses, its inexpensive to get around here for sure.
They couldn't tell me why Vancouver
We went for a drink in this pub and as Trev chatted up the bar girls outside to find out why "Vancouver"  Phil was worried that the "bouncers" were going to finally chuck dad out as he wasnt making himself understood very well and they were getting a bit fustrated with him, but alas all though he didnt find out why "Vancouver" was in their name, he left without having to be escorted out!
Now Ronnie is really coming
 out of his shell
 But he has a tremendous
 FEAR of needles
This was really mean, Ronnie had said that he would be game for an earing, so thats all Trev needed, he kept his eyes open for a spot where he could get this done.  Walking one evening in a shopping mall, to keep cool, Trevor spotted a place and before Ronnie could say no we wisked him into the chair, the lady got the gun out and wam it was done, poor Ronnie even he didnt realize it had been done, he went very pale but did very well. Congrats buddy!
New BLING for Ronnie!!

  1. The Vancouver VooDoos was the pro lacrosse team that played in the NLL. But not sure why they would have used the sign unless the owner bought from the VooDoos?? I don´t think they exist anymore
