And into Malaysia

Traveling on the motorways
A very boring way to get around
but we can sure knock off some Km

The bypass lane for motorbikes
so we can avoid the toll charges

What I remember about riding into Malaysia was the beautiful landscaping along the highways and in between the highways, so different from the other countries. We blasted down the highways and made it to Penang, Georgetown, Phil jumped on the bus once again and arrived in Butterworth and made it over to the town and island of Georgetown.  We didnt have a hotel booked but we had an idea of which part of the island we wanted to be in, unfortunately Phil got off 25km away from where we ended up and once again we didnt love the spot we chose so we got him on the phone and told him to stay put and we would come back to him.
The road stretches out ahead

Boy, Georgetown accomodation was expensive so again we found a spot for the night and Trev went to find Phil walking along the waterfront, he had had a snack and a couple of drinks, he jumped on the back and they rode back to the hotel.

We meet a fellow GS rider at the border heading into Thailand

At the border leaving Thailand
