To the Airport

Leaving the Middle East behind
We checked out of the Dove Hotel at about 12 noon and after a nice chat with the owner we grabbed a cab for the one and a half hour ride to the Airport. Our flight was not until 7.45 pm but we decided to head there rather than sit in the lobby at the hotel The Queen Alia Airport has only two terminals, One for Royal Jordan flights and the other for every one else. The airport is under major expansion so the out side was a bit of a mess but seeing what was going on and the size of the construction project I was very impressed. We sat out side the check in gate for a while and had a coffee, read our books and just people watched, as the time went by, then as two large buses arrived we jumped in line and decided to get checked in.
Queen Alia Airport Amman Getting a face lift

Like all big airports the inside was full of things to buy from alcohol to perfume just like at home but not wanting any of that we found a Starbucks and had a coffee and a cookie. Yes Starbucks was here to.

Happy to be in the air
With Royal Jordanian
The flight was excellent  the food tasty and all the booze was included in the price. It is hard to believe we got all that for under $350.00 can each. Got to choose our own in flight movies to.
The Host Hotel our first place in India
Arriving at 4 am we grabbed a prepaid Taxi and headed to the Host Hotel where we had an early check in at a reduced rate, but not before we got to sign the big book. We then headed to our room to crashed for four hours before heading into Mumbai to talk with Aubry the guy that was going to receive the bike.
