The Corinth Canal, with a length of 6 Kilometers and a width of 23 meters was built in 1882. It saves ships a trip of 185 miles this canal works really well but the ancient Greeks had another way of getting boats between the two gulfs, in the sixth century they constructed a paved road and ships where loaded onto wagons and pulled across from one side to the other.
Damn smart those Greeks!!
