A different way to travel

A 2 hour camel ride in the evening takes us into the desert and we arrive after dark.

In our group were 3 girls from Ausy and New Zealand they were great fun to be with for the two days in the desert.

You have to hold on tight when getting on and off these camels but all in all its quite a comfortable ride. We asked our guide why he walked in front instead of rode a camel himself and he said it was because if he was on a camel they wouldnt go anywhere, camels only walk forward if they are following him.
