Moveing the bike

Well time came to jump the pond we arrived at the airport early as we had to be out of the hotel by noon so even though we did not fly until 2300 hrs we went to the airport to check in. A note about the ride to the airport, we got chatting to the cabby who was from Algeria in Africa about our adventure when he realised that he had overshot the turnoff to the airport,he explained to us he had never done that before and he has been driving cab there for over 15 years, he was quite taken aback by this and chuckled at himself, he said i talk all the time to people but i must say ive never missed the turning before but he was so interested and excited for us. He said that he is a Burba from the sahara desert and when trevor commented that we were planning to stay in the Burba home stays he told us all about them and that they are the nicest people.

As time approached to us going on board the plane we spotted the bike outside the window, trevor was so excited to see his baby i thought he was going to wet himself, it was cool to watch it being loaded in the cargo hold of our plane though and to know for sure that it was actually on board. We spoke to the pilots and they said they knew all about it as it was in the cargo manifest.
When we arrived in Dublin five and a half hours later we cleared through immigration in minutes picked up our bags and then got the shuttle bus to cargo
We talked to the people there and they said to go have a coffee and the bike would be here before we got back, si we did and it was.
Then it was a quick trip to customs and a stamp on this and that and have a nice visit Mr Wilson. Back to the bike load it up with our gear and ride to the Hotel. A simple easy thing to do and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Motorcycle Express and Air Transat
Thanks guys.
Trev :-)
