So for the past few weeks we have been busy fixing up the house we took in trade when we sold our home. We have now made it into a comfortable place that we can leave for our friends to stay in till we come back at which time we plan to do a major job and put an extension on it, (everyone needs a project to look forward to on return) As for our planning for the trip we have been looking at Visas we will need. I have taken out insurance for the bike in Europe I have spent a day with the guys in the shop at Island BMW getting some pointers on the bike and a big thanks for that to you all!!. We have bought all new BMW riding gear (Now we look as good as the bike) and we are considering riding to India through Iran and Pakistan??? that should be fun I have found out the people of Iran are renowned for their hospitality we are still checking in to Pakistan??
