Its a long way somewhere: Brisbane

had lots of fun with this

Brisbane was great fun to explore, we hadnt planned on going into it until Morgan suggested that we tag along with him as he was going into the city on business. It was a 2 hour ride from his place in Noosa into Brisbane so it was a great time to chat with Morgan about his and our future plans after all this riding we had been doing. There is a river that runs thru the city and he dropped us off at the river boat and met up with us later that day, we took the boat along the river for like $4. each and it took us to about 10 stops and then it turned around and we got off to explore some of the shopping district. Its a very clean city and not too big like most of the Ausi cities we have found.

Oh yes We cant forget The Reds
They Won. It is that game where they all beat up on each
other and run around with that odd shaped ball.
I think its called Rugby!!

As we sat in a cafe to make some calls for the bike shipping and having a coffee, we noticed that there were lots of suited men with ear pieces and barricades going up and people handing out streamers, as it turned out the "Reds" were coming to town to be recognized for their win last night, we felt quite privileged to be right on the sidelines while they passed, Morgan was ticked he wasnt there with us too!
