The Cameron Highlands were first developed by the British as a Hill Station. These hill stations were all over India also but we never got to visit one there. One of the popularities was the fact that the elevation made the climate more bearable, so it was a popular place to go on the weekends to get out of the heat, so why not have tea and scones while visiting. I must admit that after being in the 35c++ and 90% humidity on the coast it was very pleasant to get out of the heat and stop sweating for a while (I also know that those of you back in Canada have no sympathy for our sweating)

A sampling of the fresh Strawberries |
The strawberries are grown in bags on stands of the ground. This makes it easy for picking and also keeps them away from the bugs and out of the dirt so they are very clean.and just like the tea they grow all year round.

Tea and Scones on Mothers Day
Perfect I think |
A nice treat for mothers day but Chenty did comment that they were not a patch on the ones we had while in England. I must say that she has become quite an expert on Tea and Scones since our visit there.

No Tea for me I need something FULL FAT |
I had to have a taste also as there was no beer garden I couldn't figure why the Brits hadn't built any of those.

After a hard day we treat the boys to a hot bath together |
