Koh Lanta

One of the two Ferries we had to take to get to Koh Lanta

Time for some more beach time, one thing we got to do while Phil was with us was to relax on the beach and work on our tans, for some reason we never seemed to have time for this before.  We have had very little "down time" even Ronnie said the same thing.  So with Phil around we had a good excuse to stop for a while, forget the blogging, drink some beers and relax.  Koh Lanta was one of those sleepy islands that was perfect for this, Ronnie found us a great resort to stay in for cheap, complete with a lovely pool, beach across the road and some funky restaurants.  The name of the place was White Rock and it turned out that the manager lived in Coquitlam for several years and used to love to go to White Rock and sit on the beach, small world.

Also, it turns out Danni and Dean came to this island on their world tour, Phil spoke to Adam and he told us some spots to explore.  Phil rented a scooter while we were there so we were all able to check out the whole island in comfort and safety..

This soon became our favorite thing to do, tan, swim and drink beer on the beach.
