To the Beach at Last

After two days in the city it is time to move again so we are up early and Phil is off to get the train to Ban Krut were we will be meeting up with Ronnie again. Its about a 300 km ride for us not to far but the worst bit is getting through the city. The BIG problem is that Bikes are not allowed on a lot of roads and express ways and the GPS has a real problem figuring that out. Well after one and a half hours of frustration in the blazing heat we find out way to route 35 heading south the next bit is easy and we arrive and check in to the hotel where Ronnie is then head of to pick Phil up at the train Station.

One of the many bridges over the
Mae Nam Chao Phraya River
But the only one we could ride our
 bike over

At the Train Station Phil arrives nice and relaxed after a five hour train ride in an air conditioned carriage
.We grab his gear and head back to the hotel stopping for lunch on the way. Its pretty handy having Ronnie as we can now go for a ride but after a while it is decided that Phil had better ride with me and Chenty on the back of Ronnie Just look how much Phil towers above Ronnie. It's like having the Eiffel tower on the back not the most stable and he wont stop moving!!
Ronnie tries some live luggage

After a while we decide that Chenty should ride with Ronnie
and I get the  live one

Settling down and cruising the beach front
We decide to spend one night in the Bangood Hotel It is nearly deserted as it is the end of season but they wont give us an upgrade and it is just a bit to dead for us So after checking on transport for Phil it is decided he will take the bus and the fast ferry to Ko Phangan and we will catch up with him in a couple of days.
A Happy and Healthy Breakfast

Ready to ride again.
Phil has to get the BUS!! and a ferry
 to the next destination.
We leave Phil waiting for the bus and set of to ride across the Thai peninsular to Ronong and down the west coast planning on staying the night somewhere before catching up again on the Island.
