Into Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City

This place is so modern
Going to Vietnam was something I really wanted to do but I had given it up as we had been told we could not get the bike in to the country as the engine size was to BIG (go figure) So when we caught up with Ronnie and he said he was planning on taking the bus there we said OK we will come to!!
And I thought we were in Ho Chi Minh City

I had listened to my Uncle Tony talk about his time in Saigon during the war so it had a certain amount of fascination for me. The bus ride was 6 hours and only coast $12.00 each so we were up early and on the bus by 6 am.

Taking the bus to Vietnam
We found a very modern city bustling with scooters and going full out 24/7. We had planed on spending two full days there and doing a tour down the Saigon river but when our tour girl screwed up booking the boat tickets for the wrong time we gave it up as a bad job  swapped the ticket for our return bus ride and headed back to Phnom Penh.

The Financial Building

Yes and if you want you can get your
 DONG rubbed
I think we find city's just a bit to hectic so heading back early was ok, I would however love to visit Vietnam again and head up north as I have been told the coast line is very beautiful. We will have to plan an other trip there one day.

A must have for the dress up box

The streets a always buzzing

Beer delivery truck

Or candy lady

How nice it looks here

We have come a long way from this

Like a peak hat for us

So if these were all cars
how big would the parking lot have to be

White guys with local girls

Very modern Architecture

There were three little pigs
and one got eaten

No MSG here

We met these three chicks in the
 bar one night

And there were two guys hanging around
