Mammoth Caves

At the entrance to the cave we listen to
the audio of how the caves were formed and who
 discovered them

Inside the cave opens up to be the Mammoth
cave living up to its name

We decided to check out, on Ruths recommendation, Mammoth Cave,  Margaret River region is home to over 100 caves, nestled in the spine of the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge.  These caves belong to a series of complex and fragile Karst systems which are landscapes formed by the flow of water underground.  Mammoth Cave is an impressive time capsule of the ancient past!!

Walking around one wonders what happens if the
 LIGHTS GO OUT!!

The long climb to the surface
