Riding in Nepal was so different to riding in India. First I never felt like people where trying to run me of the road and that was NICE. Second the roads are not as crowded so we felt more relaxed and took time to stop and enjoy the view and third the scenery was spectacular We loved being in the mountains again and when we both saw the Himalayers for the first time it was just one of those moments again.
There is a small village here called Twelve loops and when we got to the top we could see were the name came from.
The first sight of Everest and probably the best one we got as it was a lovely clear day. This was taken from the view point at Daman at a hight of 2332 meters as we crested the mountains and rode down into Kahtmandu.
The villagers here live such a simple life the work on these hills must be so hard. All done by hand it must have taken decades to get the land like this. The unfortunate thing is as the population of Nepal increases more farm land is needed so the forest is suffering.
