Life in Luxor

The Queens Valley Hotel where we stayed while in Luxor, notice the 4-6 floors arnt finished!

 Great location but I would have to say you get what you pay for, for only $28 per night including breakfast it was ok.  The beginning of the street venders driving us nuts, the horse carriage riders and the call to prayer, right outside our bedroom window at 4:30am yuk.  We have never experienced street vendors quite like these before but ive just read its going to get worse as we go into Cairo tomorrow, we are going to get a guide to try and discourage them a bit. It really is a shame because there is so much to see while here but you just dread going out the front door as they are waiting for you.
