Christmas at The Breakers was perfect, just what we needed. Four days of sun, snorkeling, relaxing, good food, great company, treated like kings we loved it. They even had a kite surfing lodge a short drive away where you could either kick back and lounge in the oversized bean bags with a cold beer or you could try your hand at kite surfing. The day we went to try it out unfortunately there was no wind, bummer yes we had to settle for a cold beer.
Its always great to hang out in different locations to meet new people, at the kitesurfing lodge we met some europeans who had travelled all over India so we got chatting about the best places to go and see, very helpful. They said we should fly to Maldiva's we will have to see.
On the mini bus back to the hotel from the lodge it was overstuffed with people and the driver played the famous egyptian "hebebe" song on the cd player which got the van rocking all the way to the hotel where we piled out with smiles on our faces..good bunch of guys, good sense of humour and very open!
Our dock from in front of our hotel, we went snorkeling off the end along with the divers, very cool fish and so colorful and plentiful. Water was only chilly at first then it got warmer to stay in rather than out, reminded me of the constant winds of Tobago Keys.
