Monaco

Just have to say that last nights concert we went to by Supertramp was fantastic, they were really really good, great pianist, trumpet and sax players too. Toulon was a great place to just chill and get some trip planning done - oh and my hair!! (did you see the pictures of me on facebook, funny?)

Monaco is a very small country on the mediteranean coast between France and Italy, 34,000 people less than a square mile, its major economy is tourism, banking and gambling, its very built up with concrete structures, we stayed right in the harbour so we were able to wonder around the marina area and drool at all the big boats and all the money sitting out there.

We only stayed one night here and it was enough just to get a taste of whats to see, really Im sure we didn’t see it all, i know there is great shopping which we didn’t get to but thats not really on our agenda for this trip so it was enough time. It is really cool how you can take an elevator thru the mountain that divides the two boat basins inside the city.

The thing I didn’t really like about the city is how steep the roads are, when your riding the bike it feels like the bike might actually tip backwards!
