There was one last thing to do

So as we get closer to leaving there was one last thing to do. I had to take my Mum for a ride on the bike. So I loaded the bike with Chenty's gear and decided to take mum out for lunch, I squashed her into Chenty's riding jacket and forced her head into the helmet ( gee mum you have a big head) then I climbed on and said OK now you have to get up here!! Well with a tug and a pull she threw her leg over and said lets go. Rolling down the drive I think I was more nervous than she was(you don't want to fall off with your mum on the back) then as I pulled away all I could her was laughter!! Sit still I said and off we went. We went down to the Raven Street Cafe and had a lovely lunch but before we could do that I had to get her off again, so in reverse this time pull push leg over and down, pull that head out of the helmet mind the ears. Lunch with mum is never quick, we sat and talked for over an hour, she is always so busy looking after people making sure every one is happy and walking the dogs, lots to talk about and well you just shouldn't talk with your mouth full thats bad manners mum taught me that!! So after lunch we mount up again and ride into town. 120 km per hour down the straight there is that laugh again!! She asks me to take her to see her friends that are out walking the dogs, they are quite surprised when we ride up and she says Hi. Well back to the office snap some pictures with the I Phone and home she wants to get out with the dogs and go back to see her friends.
Well it was great fun mum and thanks for being my Mum
I love you and will be back in a year with some great stories to tell. We will have to do lunch again when I get back.
