Seeing new friends for a second third and fourth time!!

We first met Liz and Dave on the ferry to Greece from Barrie in Italy. They were out on the final leg of a six month tour of Europe, backpacking. That crossing was one to remember for many reasons mainly the weather as a storm came in and we sat up all night wondering about the bike below on the car deck as we crashed through the waves. We meet again quite by accident when we checked into a hotel on the Island of Santorini and found them enjoying a glass of wine on the patio watching the sun go down. We spent a few days together and even went to see Harry Potter together at the local cinema.

 Again we departed company sort of knowing they were heading to Turkey next and what do you know we see them on the Island of Rhodes Now this is becoming a habit. As we depart company there we exchange address as we will be in Australia later on our trip and we agree to drop in to see them on our way north heading up to Brisbane, we also exchange details on a hotel they have booked into in Istanbul Not expecting to be there at the same time but the research Liz had done made the place sound great and we thought we would plan on staying there also.
Well what do you know!! on our second night at the hotel who turns up for breakfast but Liz and Dave,
Yes plans change when you travel and some people you are destined to meet again.

After spending a couple of nights at their place in Crescent Head we head
out again up the coast.
