Haifa

We are still waiting for our Visas for India so after spending four more nights in Tel Aviv we decided a change of scenery was in order. We had not seen Haifa yet and it was only about an hours ride north so we packed up again and hit the road. We have now ridden this route so many times I now know the way without the maps out!!! After a quick blast on a wonderfully paved road at 120 kmh we arrived in Haifa and visited the Tourist info to ask about the accommodations in town and they recommended The Port Inn  at $83.00 a night with breakfast that was a good deal as everything else we checked started at $150.00, they had the best coffee machine for cappacinos and americanos..

Haifa is another nice clean city in Israel We had originally planned to arrive here from Rhodes in Greece by ferry but the service had been canceled for the winter hence the route through Syria, Jordan
Egypt and here to Israel.

Here I am again on the phone to SM Visa checking on the status of our application They asked me to fax a letter to the Indian Embassy stating our position that we had to leave Israel as the bike is booked on a flight for next Friday from Amman Jordan and we have to crate it first so I did that and we will see.
Stay tuned......
